In a letter from Mark Anthony, Director, Office of Career Services:

Mark,

Allow us to congratulate you on being selected as first runner-up for IUP's Student Employee of the Year in 2007.  You were chosen from a pool of motivated and competent individuals who have demonstrated excellence in working beyond expectations.  It is quite evident that you are an important asset to the Department of Athletics, and more specifically, the IUP baseball team.

Student employees play an important role in the operation of IUP, and through your involvement with the baseball team, you have made a significant contribution to the campus.  Your reliability, initiative, creativity, and desire to be an effective coach, substantiates your excellence in working beyond expectations.  The University, its employees, and its students have benefited from your presence.  Ideally, students' jobs also provide opportunities for personal and professional growth.  We hope this has been your experience.

Congratulations for the great honor and best of luck with your continued academic and professional growth at IUP.

Sincerely,
Mark E. Anthony, Director
