IUP's Health & Physical Education - Athletic Training
"Chris has been a model student at IUP: responsible, conscientious, and diligent in and out of the classroom. Not only does he spend time to maintain a high level of academic performance in my course (HPED 209 - Motor Behavior), I often see him in the field house working on improving the physical side. I have stated to Chris and others that I have high expectations of Motor Behavior students, and he listens well and continues to be a positive role model for incoming HPE students, student-athletes, and all IUP students."
- Dr. Andrew L. Shim, IUP Assistant Professor, Health and Physical Education
"Chris was my first quarterback as a High School Head Football Coach. The first thing I noticed about Chris was that he had the ability to be a leader. His leadership and athletic ability helped us to achieve Penns Manor's best conference football record in 12 years. I will forever be indebted to him for making my first year as a head coach so enjoyable. He is an outstanding young man who has all of the tools to be successful no matter what he chooses to do. I know with young men like him, IUP Baseball is definitely headed in the right direction.
- David Leasure, Fox Chapel Area High School Football Defensive Coordinator
