"Dan has been an outstanding student in our program and has be very active in a variety of department projects, especially as the coordinator for the Keller Lab in our department.  Dan has excellent communication skills and a very good work ethic which has landed him an excellent coop this summer working with Conoco Phillips in Alaska!"

            - Dr. Lon Ferguson, Chairperson, IUP Safety Sciences Department

"As a former coach of Dan's, I've had the opportunity to see him grow as an athlete, student, and community member over a number of years.  He is an example for other student-athletes to follow - a success both on and off of the playing field.  As a hometown guy, Dan is a role model for our young people on a daily basis because of the principles and values he sets forth in his daily life."
