"Travis is currently in my MATH 217 Statistics course. It certainly is a pleasure to have students like him for two semesters. He has performed academically quite well. Yet, what really stands out for this young man is his willingness to make a contribution in class. He overcomes his quite demeanor to help his peers. For this they are grateful!"
- Dr. Yong S. Colen, IUP Mathematics Department
"Travis to me is one of , if not the most respectful person I have ever met.
He has a work ethic second to none. The first time I met Travis, he was riding
the pine on his 9th grade baseball team. Every parent and every player knew what
kind of player he was. Instead of walking around sulking, Travis worked his tail
off and became one of the most complete players in the area. I still think that
Travis' 9th grade season is what made him the
player and person he is today. I am proud to know Travis and IUP is lucky to
have him."
