The Fight in a Fighter

Being a professional boxer now and going through all the tough hurdles while in college, I have learned a great deal of respect for the good people in your life.  I surround myself with great people who actually care and feel that being a good person is better than the alternative.

Learning to never give up on something "impossible" is a very hard thing to do, especially at the age of 18-22.  It is easy to give in or give up and say "whatever" or "it is no big deal, I'll get it next time".

I am one who never gives in or gives up.  I gave it my all in every pitch, every catch, and every punch.

I hope the team takes this serious and realizes that its not easy and it never will be.

Here is a quote from Rocky:

Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is going to hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. I will be the Champion of the World soon and I'll make sure that I bring the good people with me.

Keep working hard everyone and NEVER GIVE UP!!!

Thanks,

Shawn Miller
