A: Winning a national Championship at the age of 13.
Q: What is the best part of being a college athlete?
A: You can always do something to make you a better person athletically, or
academically.
Q: What is the best advice you have ever received from a coach?
A: Learning the "What's Next" mentality.
Q: Who is your most influential role model?
A: Poppy, or Uncle Ben to some.
Q: What celebrity would you most like to meet?
A: The 80's Michael Jackson.
Q: Do you have a favorite type of music you listen to?
A: Depends on what I'm in the mood for.
Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: Serendipity.
Q: What is your favorite sports movie?
A: Basketball.
Q: Do you have a favorite food or meal?
A: My dad's shrimp dip.
Q: What is your favorite holiday?
A: Flag Day.
Q: What is your favorite professional baseball team?
A: The 2010 World Series Champion Baltimore Orioles.

A: Mark Teixeira.

Q: Name one thing that people would be surprised to learn about you.
A: I came to college when I was 17.
Q: What is the place that you haven't traveled to, that you would most like
to visit?
A: Curacao, to visit Eugene Offerman.
Q: What would be your dream job?
A: Marketing director for an entertainment corporation.
Q: What is it that attracted you to IUP?
A: Two words, Jeff Ditch.
Q: What do you like most about the city of Indiana?
A: Great college town filled with great people.
Q: What baseball team in the PSAC would you most like to beat?
A: Whichever team we're playing.
Q: What is your favorite thing about the sport of baseball?
A: After playing for 17 years, I'm still learning.
Q: What is your earliest baseball memory?
A: Playing whiffle ball in the backyard with my grandfather.
Q: If you could play any other sport in college, what would it be?
A: Curling
Q: What (if any) pre-game superstitions or rituals do you have?
A: I jump into my pants, instead of putting them on one leg at a time.
Q: What are some of your favorite things to do in your spare time when you
are not playing baseball?
A: Shooting skeet, White Water Rafting, and watching SpongeBob.
Q: What was your favorite TV show growing up?
A: SpongeBob.
Q: What is your favorite TV show now? Do you have a favorite character on
that show?
A: SpongeBob, SpongeBob.
Q: What are your career goals?
A: To be in a career that broadens my horizons, and pushes me to reach my
full potential. Also to allow me to provide for my family in the future...like
far, far future.
Q: What does it take to be academically successful at IUP?
A: Showing up is half the battle, the other half is what you put into it.
Q: What does it take to be athletically successful at IUP?
A: Working harder than the guy next to you.
