A: Striking out the last batter to win the state championship last year.


Q: What is the best part of being a college athlete?
A: Living on campus with my teammates.

Q: What is the best advice you have ever received from a coach?
A: Never give up.

Q: Who is your most influential role model?
A: My dad.

Q: What celebrity would you most like to meet?
A: Katt Williams.

Q: Do you have a favorite type of music you listen to?
A: I listen to all types of music.

Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: A Night at the Roxbury.

Q: What is your favorite sports movie?
A: Rudy.

Q: Do you have a favorite food or meal?
A: Chicken and rice.

Q: What is your favorite holiday?

A: Christmas.

Q: What is your favorite professional baseball team?
A: Boston Red Sox.

Q: Who is your favorite professional baseball player?
A: Jon Lester.

Q: Name one thing that people would be surprised to learn about you.
A: I love to eat but I’m still pretty skinny.

Q: What is the place that you haven’t traveled to, that you would most like to visit?
A: Greece.

Q: What would be your dream job?
A: Professional baseball player.

Q: What is it that attracted you to IUP?
A: The large amount of construction.

Q: What do you like most about the city of Indiana?
A: I haven’t figured that out yet.

Q: What baseball team in the PSAC would you most like to beat?
A: Cal because it is close to my house and I have a lot of friends that go there.

Q: What is your favorite thing about the sport of baseball?
A: There are a lot of games in a season so you get to play almost every day.

Q: What is your earliest baseball memory?
A: My first glove. I bought a used glove that had someone else’s name and phone number written on it.

Q: If you could play any other sport in college, what would it be?
A: Basketball because I loved playing it in high school.

Q: What (if any) pre-game superstitions or rituals do you have?
A: If my team wins a game I will do the same thing before the next game.

Q: What are some of your favorite things to do in your spare time when you are not playing baseball?
A: Play basketball or lift weights.

Q: What was your favorite TV show growing up?
A: Rugrats.

Q: What is your favorite TV show now? Do you have a favorite character on that show?
A: Family Guy and my favorite character is Cleveland.

Q: What are your career goals
A: Make money.

Q: What does it take to be academically successful at IUP?
A: 100% class attendance.

Q: What does it take to be athletically successful at IUP?
A: Work hard every day.
