10/13/08 - Crimson’s Rougeaux Perfect, McDonald Delivers

Jake Rougeaux pitched a perfect three inning start on the mound and Sean McDonald delivered two RBI singles to push the Crimson to a 4-0 win in game three of the Crimson vs. Gray Fall Intra-Squad Series Monday afternoon.

Rougeaux set down nine straight Gray hitters with three fly outs, four ground outs, and two strikeouts.  In two fall world series starts, he pitched seven innings and allowed just one hit.  Offensively, Crimson’s McDonald was 2-for-2 with two RBI and Ryan Mostyn and Travis Bobik each has a single and run scored.

The series will conclude Tuesday at the Owen J. Dougherty Baseball Complex.
