Good Afternoon Coach!

Just thought I would drop you a quick note and let you know how
things are going. Nicole, my fiance, and I arrived here in Houston
this past Friday night. Saturday we ended up driving down to where she
will be working which is in Matagorda which is about 80 miles south of
Houston. I came back to Houston Sunday to unpack my things and get
ready for the week.

This is now my third day of work here. So far I am really
enjoying myself. It's a bit strange working here in this high rise
building in the middle of downtown Houston...but at the same time it is
kind of nice. I have an office on the 35th floor where my business unit
is located. I think there are about 10,000 employees in this building
alone. Work is good ... it has been nothing more than orientation and
training sessions thus far, but I look to start getting my feet wet in
the next few days.

It just so happens that I live about 2 blocks down from Rice
University and about 8 blocks or so from the University of Houston. I
will have to go watch Rice play one of these days. Also, I think I am
going to make a trip over to Minute Maid park this weekend to catch an
Astros game.

Houston has some unforgiving heat. That is probably the hardest
thing for me right now. Its been about 94 the past few days with a heat
index of about 100 degrees. All is well though and things could not be better.

I will be sure to keep in touch.
