Stephen Cooke pitched one inning and struck out two hitters in the Virginia Valley League Baseball All-Star game at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA.  Cooke's North squad posted a 9-2 win.  Box Score

7/9/10 - Stephen Cooke Named Valley Baseball League All-Star

Two current members of the IUP Baseball team, Stephen Cooke and Robbie Zinsmeister, were selected as collegiate summer league all-stars this past week.

Cooke pitches for the Winchester Royals of the Virginia Valley Baseball League. Selected as an all-star for the north squad, Cooke has made 12 appearances on the mound and posted a 4-1 record. The Valley League all-star game is Sunday, July 11, at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. Cooke was a PSAC 1st team closer for IUP this past season.
