6/7/08 - Colby Betz in the Cape Cod Baseball League

Colby Betz made his Cape Cod debut for the Hyannis Mets Saturday night pitching one inning and recording three strikeouts.  His Cape squad went on to gain a 8-1 victory over the US Military All-Stars at Harwich's Whitehouse Field.  The military squad was visiting the Cape for the fourth straight year as part of their "Red, White, and Blue Tour of America".

Betz now looks to Wednesday night (June 11) for his next opportunity as he will pitch two innings in a local scrimmage at Hyannis.
