7/17/10 - Bingham Promoted to Eugene Emeralds of Northwest League

Paul Bingham was called up to the Eugene Emeralds of the Class A Short Season Northwest League.  Prior to his promotion, he played 20 games with the Arizona Rookie League Padres in Peoria, Arizona.  Stats in Arizona:  20 Games Played, .306 BA, 72 AB, 13 Runs, 22 Hits, 2 Triples, 8 RBI, 26 Total Bases, 12 BB, 20 SO, 5 SB, 2 CS, .400 OBP, .361 SLG.

6/21/10 - Bingham's Pro Debut with Arizona Rookie League Padres

Paul Bingham, drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 20th round (604th player overall) of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft, begins his professional baseball career with the Arizona Rookie League Padres in Peoria, Arizona.  The rookie-level team plays their home games at the Peoria Sports Complex which is also the home of the Padres spring training.

6/11/10 - Bingham Signs Contract with Padres

Paul Bingham signed a professional baseball contract today with the San Diego Padres and scout Andrew Salvo.  He will report to the Arizona Rookie League Padres in Peoria, Arizona, on Monday June 14.  The season opens Monday, June 21.

6/8/10 - Bingham Drafted in 20th Round by San Diego Padres

Paul Bingham was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 20th round (604th player overall) of the 2010 Major League Baseball Draft.
